My journey into the world of finance and entrepreneurship began at the age of fifteen in Eritrea, where my parents operated a transportation company. This venture specialized in distributing liquids, oils, and various merchandise throughout the country. Intrigued by the financial aspect of the business, I volunteered to assist our accountant, John. This experience unveiled a passion for accounting, as I found joy in compiling numbers and assessing the monthly profits. 

Remarkably, by the age of sixteen, I had honed my skills sufficiently to become the accountant for our family business. Under my financial stewardship, the company expanded its operations beyond Eritrea, venturing into other East African markets. 

Upon completing my education, I sought greater opportunities and relocated to Canada. Here, I pursued the CMA and CPA program, which led to positions in two prominent companies. These roles provided me with invaluable insights into tax practices, corporate structure, and client relations within the Canadian context. 

Identifying a niche for simplified and value-driven services, I was inspired to establish my own venture in Winnipeg, Canada, which has since expanded to Calgary. My aim was to offer exceptional services to industrious individuals, underpinned by a team that reflects the rich diversity of our clientele, including proficiency in English, Arabic, Tigrinya, Cantonese, Punjabi, among others. 

To cater to our varied client base, I developed two innovative web applications: Taxanywhere and ABMBooks. Taxanywhere is designed to streamline the tax filing process for personal clients, offering an easy-to-use platform where users simply upload their documents for processing and our team of experts handle the rest. ABMBooks, on the other hand, serves business clients with comprehensive bookkeeping and payroll solutions, facilitating invoice creation, expense tracking, and employee payments through a single cloud-based system. 

Our services are tailored to a wide range of industries, including trucking, hospitality, construction, trades, and retail. We also pride ourselves on serving a broad spectrum of self-employed professionals, such as ride-share drivers, truck drivers, barbers, hairdressers, cleaning/janitorial services, other subcontractors, among others.
